HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS:
JUVEDERM ®, RESTYLANE ® and PERLANE ®
Juvederm®, Restylane® and Perlane® are cosmetic dermal (hyaluronic acid) fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin, instantly smoothing wrinkles and enhancing thin lips. During treatment, the fillers are injected directly into the skin in small amounts by an ultrafine needle to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth. Juvederm®, Restylane® and Perlane® treatments are considered extremely safe. The injections are formulated from non-animal hyaluronic acid — an acid that occurs naturally in the body and therefore dissolves naturally. Because no allergy test is needed, the entire process takes less than 30 minutes. The treatments are long lasting and can be repeated as necessary, usually every 6 to 12 months.
